Ms. Shih has more than 12 years of strong experience working with K-12 youth of diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. As English instructor, she specializes in reading comprehension and writing, and has extensive experience teaching SAT strategies and test-taking skills to individuals and groups in both Massachusetts and California. Ms. Shih also serves as a college application consultant and enjoys helping her students earn admission into their dream schools. As an education advocate, she also volunteers in the community as a board member of the local educational non-profit OASES and as a counselor at the TACL-LYF summer youth leadership camp.
